Chanderi fabric originates from the town of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh and holds a Geographical Indication (GI) tag. It comes in three varieties: Chanderi silk cotton, pure silk Chanderi, and Chanderi cotton. The fabric is known for its gossamer texture, fine weave, and subtle gold or silver zari stripes that shimmer in light. It has been woven since the Vedic period and was favoured by Mughal and Bundela royalty.
Every piece is made to order by master karigars in Jaipur, with 3-4 weeks of meticulous hand embroidery on premium chanderi fabric.
